The Interactive CBT Training Course - Subjects to Study
If you have already seen the wealth of topics within 13 Stages of Web Development, then you will be even more amazed at the subject areas this course contains. At every Stage, following through from each main topic, there are related subject areas with more detail, analysis, information and sound advice about each subject, with links to video tutorials to demonstrate the subject area. You will not be left wondering "what does that mean" or "how is that done" or "where do I find more information" or any of the questions that arise as you develop your business.
From Main Topics to Detailed Subjects
For instance, At Stage 1 Getting Started Essentials, there are ten main topics. The first one is called "Before you Start". This is broken down into eight areas to give you a complete overview of what you should know before you even think about anything else. The subjects are:
- Online is Smart Business
- Research is the Key
- Trends & Statistics
- Essential Ecommerce
- Internet Marketing
- Creating a Community
- Business Building
- Pricing it Right
Your next step at Stage 1 is to think about your own personal criteria, and this next topic covers the subject areas of
- Lifestyle Choices
- Your Health
- Your Priorities
- Setting goals
Moving down to another main topic at Stage 1, called Laying Solid foundations, the related subjects are about:
- Establishing a Legal Identity
- Internet Business Policies
- Designing for Credibility
- Support & Back-up systems
Still at Stage 1, at the main topic called Avoiding Mistakes, you will learn about the common mistakes that most webmasters make and continue to make, and how you can avoid them. You will also learn about even more (less common) mistakes made, which affect the way your business progresses if you don't take all the logical steps of development.
Another main topic at Stage 1 is about Business Naming , and why this is different for an internet business as opposed to an offline business. The subjects are about choosing the right name, having the right fit, checking availability and testing a name.
Progressing through the Stages and Subjects
When you reach Stage 6 of the Course, Writing for the Web, you learn all the fundamentals of content and copywriting and how the content differs for your website and other marketing methods. Good content is the key to a successful website, and content is everything you see and experience on every page of a site, including text, graphics, navigation, and much more. Each topic is analyzed into subject areas, including how to research content, how people and search engine spiders see content, AIDA principles, all about email marketing and ezine (newsletter) promotion, advertising campaigns, and so on.
At Stage 8 Search Engine Optimization Skills, from each of the thirteen main topics, the subject areas cover site and content relevancy to search engines, the process for optimizing, identifying search terms for your target market, word ratios and getting the right balance, anchor tags and links strategies, identifying and avoiding spam words, search engine stumbling blocks, and using the most effective key phrases to achieve top search engine positioning.
You are Always in Complete Control
As you go work through each Stage topics and subjects, you will know what tasks are involved, and your personal reports will show you which subjects you have studied to date. You can use the checklist to record actions you need to do or have yet to complete, and you can take the quiz to test your knowledge and understanding. All the results show instantly in your own personal reports, so you always have a record of your achievements.
At the end of each Stage, there is an Achievement Certificate you can be
